INTRO TO PHOTOSHOP 2

In this lecture, Mr Fauzi introduced us lasso tool, pen tool and layering.  

Lasso Tool

• Allows us to draw and pinpoint specific areas of a document. 
• It is perfect if someone who likes drawing with pencil and paper or cutting and pasting objects from a photo.
• It is great to use with a graphic tablet because it is similar to a pencil.

Pen Tool 

• When it comes to actually creating a path from scratch, the pen tool is the most common option.
• The pen tool is the way that you add these points and the way you drag the tool as you create the points determines how they will look.
• Remember, the fewer points, the smoother a path will be.

Variation of Pen Tool

Layering

• Layers are different images stacked on top of each other. 
• We can use each layer without affecting another one to make adjustments. 
• Together they form one final image.

Mr Fauzi brief our task for today by the video that was created by him. In this video, Mr Fauzi demonstrated cropping out collage elements by using pen tool and magic wand. He had shown us the whole process of composition for digital collage.

COMPOSITING COLLAGE

1. Download all of the images here to your computer:

2. Follow this tutorial demo as reference to create your digital collage:

3. Create 3 different compositions of digital collages from the images that you’ve downloaded.

4. Create A4 canvas size  (vertical) in Photoshop and start to do the compositions.

Final Composition - Project 1: Digital Collage

Mr Fauzi thought that Composition 2 is the best among the three compositions, so I took Composition 2 as my final digital collage.

DESCRIPTION:

A train toward a red planet in outer space and a cyan colour fighting fish seem monitoring humans down the train station. That fighting fish might be the master of the world, controlling humans that humble. Fighting fish represents responsibility. People commute by train every day to work because of responsibility, no one forces them but they force themselves.
