INTRO TO COMPOSITION
In this lecture, Mr Fauzi introduces the basic composition such as focal point, scale & hierarchy, the balance of the elements and white space. The most common composition we use in our life is the rule of thirds, by dividing an image into thirds and positioning the most important elements of our image at these intersection points, we will produce a much more natural image. Lastly, the golden ratio composition is commonly found in nature, and when used in a design, it fosters organic and natural-looking compositions that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
TUTORIAL
BASIC COMPOSITION EXERCISE
This week, we were tasked with composing elements that we find last week. We were encouraged to utilize the composition techniques that were recently taught to help us improve our understanding of composition. We need to come up with three pre-composition referring to the video tutorial that was sent by Mr Fauzi.
